President Donald Trump was joined by a few of his family members in Scotland when opening a new golf course at the Trump International Scotland resort near Aberdeen.
It’s no secret that Trump has a tall family. His appearances alongside world leaders often prompt questions about how tall he really is.
But it may have been his son Eric Trump who caught people’s attention for standing a few inches above the president. Eric Trump manages the Trump Organization along with Donald Trump Jr., who both attended the July 29 ribbon-cutting ceremony along with their father.
“We wanted this to be the greatest 36 holes anywhere on earth,” Eric Trump said at the event. “There’s no question that that’s been achieved. This course is remarkable.”

President Donald Trump is 6-feet-3-inches, according to his annual physical exam, which he had in April. First lady Melania Trump, a former model, is 5-foot-11 inches.
Eric Trump’s wife Lara Trump, a Fox News host, is also tall at 5’11”. They have two kids together, Luke and Carolina Trump. She attended the ribbon-cutting with her husband.

The new course is set to officially open Aug. 13, according to the website.
“We’ll play it very quickly, and then I go back to D.C. and we put out fires all over the world,” Trump said in his remarks at the event. “We stopped a war. But we’ve stopped about five wars, so that’s much more important than playing golf. As much as I like it, it’s much more important.”
Trump had said ahead of his trip that he was traveling to talk trade, and he did announce a deal with the European Union ahead of his looming tariff deadline. But he traveled with family not only to the resort near Aberdeen, but also to the Trump Turnberry resort on Scotland’s west coast.
