CENTURY 21 agent accused of writing Trump deportation message on receipt no longer with firm – The Columbus Dispatch

CENTURY 21 Excellence Realty says it is no longer affiliated with a real estate agent accused of writing an offensive note to a Columbus Mexican restaurant employee on Sunday.
The customer went viral on social media Monday after being accused of writing, “I hope Trump deports you!!!” on a $87.84 receipt instead of leaving a tip at Cazuelas Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, 6325 E. Broad St.
Several online claims said the customer was employed by CENTURY 21 Excellence Realty, which the agency confirmed in a statement to The Dispatch. The accused woman has since shut off all of her social media accounts.

A CENTURY 21 spokesperson told The Dispatch that “this agent is no longer affiliated with our company.”
“Our company was made aware of this situation,” they said. “We do not support any type of discrimination at all and we appreciate the people who brought it to our attention.”
The incident has continued to gain traction online with more than a million views across social media platforms. A GoFundMe with a $1,000 goal to support Ricardo, the Cazuelas employee who served the customer, has since raised more than $13,000.
