CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Three commemorative stamps from the United States Postal Service are paying tribute to a military milestone.
The stamps commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Army, Navy and Marines.
For one USPS official, who is also a veteran, these are more than just stamps.
“To me, it’s an emblem of our society, it’s an emblem of these amazing institutions, and it’s just absolutely being able to honor the men and women that have come before, serve now and will serve in the future of these great institutions,” USPS military program specialist Martin Mieras explained.

Each of the three stamps highlights one of three branches with its official seal and the words “250 Years of Service,” “Since 1775,” and “Forever/USA.”
The stamps are already available and can be purchased on the postal service’s website.
