Donald Trump has made a habit of calling Jasmine Crockett “low IQ,” and she has made a habit of coming back at the president with blistering jabs.
And the Democratic Rep. from Texas hit Trump with one heck of a blow this week in an interview with The Grio. Crockett set it all up by agreeing with a post on X by Donald Trump Jr.
“Affirmative action is when Barack Obama gets the Nobel Peace Prize instead of Donald Trump,” Trump Jr. wrote.
“If we are going to say that there’s any affirmative action, I mean, I may have to agree with Donald Trump Jr.,” Crockett said.
She, of course, did not leave it there.
“In the sense that it would take Obama being 50,000 times better than (President Trump) for him to get it,” she said of the Nobel Peace Prize that Obama won in 2009.
Crockett then told the outlet that Trump “continues to chase President Obama’s shadow.”
“He is do disturbed that a Black man is and was better than him,” she said. “They are not the same.”
Crockett said that Trump and his MAGA supporters push “white victimization.”
“There is nothing great about Donald Trump being born with a silver spoon in his mouth,” she said. “What is great about Barack Obama is that he rose to the same level as Donald Trump, and nobody gave him millions of dollars when he was born.”
Crockett said the Trumps are also “still mad that the Obamas, in general, have made it into Harvard.”
“These are people who are really trying to prove that they are on the same level,” she said. “And the reality is that if a Black man became president, he was always going to have to be far superior than anybody else.”
She also took a jab at Trump’s criminal history.
“You tell me whether or not Barack Obama ever would have been elected with one felony accusation, let alone 34 convictions,” she said.
