On the 645th day of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and Day 114 since Israel violated the mediated ceasefire agreement on March 18, Israeli missiles and shells have killed and injured dozens of Palestinians across the devastated coastal enclave.
Medical sources confirmed that 92 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes since dawn, including many who had gathered near aid distribution centers.
Israeli forces heavily bombarded al-Shati refugee camp, resulting in the deaths and injuries of numerous civilians.
The Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza said its medics and rescue teams have been unable to locate at least 50 Palestinians under the rubble, due to ongoing bombing and destruction, in various parts of Gaza city.
“We are going through an extremely difficult day due to the ongoing massacres, and our teams are unable to rescue 50 people trapped under the rubble in Gaza City neighborhoods,” Civil Defense spokesperson said.
The strikes, which began overnight and continued into Saturday morning, targeted tents sheltering displaced families and residential homes in Gaza City and Khan Younis.
The Israeli army also continued wiring and detonating homes and buildings throughout the enclave.
At least 30 Palestinians were killed and 180 others injured, according to preliminary figures, while waiting to access the American aid distribution center in the ash-Shakoush area of Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost region.
Eyewitnesses and medical sources reported that Israeli tanks opened fire unexpectedly on thousands of civilians, primarily young men waiting for the gates to open.
The casualties were initially transferred to the Red Cross field hospital, then to Nasser Medical Complex, where many injuries were described as critical and life-threatening. Hospital officials stated that several of the deceased remain unidentified.
In Gaza City, residents held funerals for 13 Palestinians killed in a series of airstrikes that struck the neighborhoods of al-Rimal, Sheikh Radwan, al-Tuffah, and areas near the Islamic University in western Gaza.
Separately, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building belonging to the Yassin family near al-Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southern Gaza City, killing seven civilians and injuring dozens more.
Israeli forces also shelled a group of civilians in the al-Mashahra area of al-Tuffah, northeast of Gaza City, causing additional casualties.
In al-Shati refugee camp, western Gaza City, missiles and shelling killed at least seven Palestinians, including two children, and injured over 40, the majority suffering life-threatening wounds.
In Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, 11 members of the al-Kurd family were killed in an airstrike, and five others were killed in a tent near al-Baraka roundabout.
Sources at Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis, said six Palestinians were found under the rubble of bombarded homes in Abasan town, east of the city.
Medical sources report that at least 67 children have died from malnutrition, with over 650,000 children under five at direct risk of acute malnutrition. These figures reflect the condition of 1.1 million children in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli blockade has reached its 133rd day, during which border crossings remain closed, halting the entry of food, medicine, and fuel.
According to humanitarian agencies, this constitutes a severe form of collective punishment under international law.
To date, 788 Palestinians have been killed and 5,199 injured near aid distribution sites, not including the most recent casualties.
Since midnight, the death toll has risen to approximately 70, including three killed near Bani Suheila roundabout and ten in an attack targeting tents for displaced persons.
In recent days, dozens of deaths linked to hunger and the lack of basic medical supplies were documented, as access to flour, infant formulas, nutritional supplements, and essential medications remain obstructed.
Humanitarian officials describe these restrictions as part of a sustained policy that endangers civilian life, particularly children.
An estimated 1.25 million residents of Gaza face catastrophic hunger, while 96% of the population experience acute food insecurity, including over one million children. International observers have characterized the situation as an unprecedented humanitarian emergency.
The United Nations warned Saturday that fuel shortages in Gaza have reached critical levels, threatening to further worsen the crisis.
In a joint statement, seven UN agencies, including OCHA, WHO, and WFP, stressed that fuel is essential for survival, powering hospitals, water and sanitation systems, ambulances, and all humanitarian operations. Bakeries also require fuel to produce food.
The besieged territory has suffered from severe fuel shortages since October 7, 2023, following an unprecedented attack by Hamas on Israel. The blockade has prevented consistent fuel entry for nearly two years.
Agencies warned that Gaza’s population endures extreme hardship, with food insecurity and deteriorating public health. When fuel runs out, the burden on civilians, already on the brink of famine, becomes unbearable.
The UN further cautioned that humanitarian operations may shut down entirely if fuel is not made available, leading to the collapse of medical services, clean water access, and food assistance.
Regarding the indirect ceasefire talks in Doha, Israeli media reported that no progress was made in the past 24 hours, citing disputes over military repositioning maps presented by the Israeli delegation.
Sources told Al Jazeera that the map proposed by Israel would retain control over approximately 40% of Gaza’s territory, effectively laying the groundwork for a forced displacement plan.
However, Channel 12 has reported that Israel plans to submit revised maps, Sunday, detailing its proposed military withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, while seeking to retain control over the Morag Corridor, a strategically significant zone in the enclave’s south.
The move comes as ceasefire negotiations in Doha remain deadlocked, with Palestinian representatives rejecting earlier Israeli proposals that would leave roughly 40% of Gaza under continued military occupation, including critical areas in Rafah and northern Gaza.

Israel is expected to present new maps during the ceasefire negotiations in Doha, scheduled to resume Sunday, outlining the scope of its proposed military withdrawal from the Gaza Strip during a potential 60-day truce.
The updated Israeli maps will reportedly focus on Israeli control over the Morag Corridor and its surrounding areas, a point of contention that Qatari mediators have warned could lead to the collapse of negotiations if not revised.
According to Channel 12, Hamas has made clear it will not accept the earlier map, which retained Israeli military presence in large portions of Gaza.
The channel also reported that weekend negotiations failed to produce any breakthroughs, with the gap over the extent of Israel’s withdrawal remaining unresolved.
An Israeli political official stated Saturday evening that talks in Doha continued throughout the day, with the Israeli delegation working closely with Qatari and Egyptian mediators, and maintaining direct communication with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, as reported by Channel 12.
In a related development, an Israeli media report indicated that U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff will not travel to Doha unless the negotiations reach a decisive phase, signaling that Washington is awaiting substantive progress before re-engaging directly.
Since Israel violated the ceasefire agreement in Gaza on March 18, 2025, the Israeli army has killed 7,311 Palestinians, including more than 1,533 children, 486 women, and 29 journalists in injured more than 26,045.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed over 57,882 Palestinians, including at least 17,131 children and 10,190 women, with over 138,052 wounded, the majority being children and women, according to health authorities. These figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped under rubble or in unreachable areas.
