Walton Goggins is set to host Saturday Night Live for the first time tonight with the band Arcade Fire as the musical guest.
The actor rose to fame with his recent role as Rick Hatchett in the third season of HBO's The White Lotus. But he's been an actor for years and has starred in hit TV shows such as The Shield, Justified, Vice Principals, The Righteous Gemstones, and Fallout.
Walton also appeared in various movies like Lincoln, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, the 2018 remake of Tomb Raider, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. With his long list of credits, let's take a look at what his net worth is.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the 53-year-old has a net worth of $12 million. The star recently attended his first Met Gala earlier this week.
Walton donned a Thom Browne design that consisted of a white shirt, black tie, inside out suit jacket and a matching skirt. He gleefully showed off his outfit for the cameras, constantly twirling as he walked the blue carpet.
But the star also shared his love for others at fashion's biggest night, including this year's co-chair, A$AP Rocky. The Harlem-born rapper and Walton had a small conversation in front of the cameras and expert lip reader NJ Hickling told The Mirror US that when they greeted each other, Walton told A$AP Rocky, "You look so suave, hot as f–k," as A$AP Rocky replied, "I look cool."
Alongside Walton, Arcade Fire will be making their sixth appearance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, as they first appeared on the show back i9n 2007.
During one of the promos for Saturday's show, Walton and Arcade Fire appeared on stage with SNL cast member Ego Nwodim as he asked Walton, "I hear you’re a pretty serious actor, so how do you prepare for the role of Walton Goggins?"
"I don’t know, I just try to have fun," he responded before looking at the camera with a serious expression. "God, Jesus, this is the role of a lifetime. How do we honor that which we live so directly?"
He continued to dramatically monologue as Arcade Fire and Ego slowly backed away. "And they're gone," he finished.
