After being last seen in late March, a Utah woman was found safe on Monday, local authorities said.
The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office said on Sunday that 34-year-old Emily Wolfe was last seen on March 31 in northern San Juan County, Utah. The sheriff’s office added that they believed Wolfe was heading to the Highland, Utah area some 310 miles northwest.
According to the sheriff’s office, Wolfe was last seen driving a gray 2020 Can-Am Defender side-by-side vehicle, and her cell phone was either no longer active or turned on.
The sheriff’s office also said Wolfe recently told family members that she has a job in Alaska, but also made comments about wanting to go to North Carolina.
On Monday night, the sheriff’s office shared an update saying that Wolfe “has been located and is safe!!”
“We want to thank all who shared this post in hopes of raising awareness and spreading the word. Thank you for helping us keep our communities in and around San Juan County safe!!” the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office did not say where Wolfe was or how she went missing.
