Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC)
The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) has reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment, industrial leadership, and socio-economic development with the release of a compelling new short documentary spotlighting its Supply Chain Academy (SCA).
The documentary, titled “Powering Potential: Inside NBC’s Supply Chain Academy,” takes viewers inside the heart of NBC’s long-standing technical training institution, chronicling its transformation into a hub for developing the next generation of leaders in Nigeria’s manufacturing and supply chain sectors.
The People & Culture Director, NBC, Jolomi Fawehinmi, explained that the curriculum of the academy was designed to equip trainees with both technical and leadership skills.
Fawehinmi noted that the academy offers a blend of immersive classroom training with hands-on learning experiences including new intakes undergoing onboarding programmes, practical sessions on mini production lines.

Also commenting on the documentary, the Supply Chain Capability Development Manager, NBC, Idehen Misan Ilesanmi, emphasised that the company’s goal is to develop trainees to the level where they can meet global leadership and technical standards.

She stated that the technical training centre remains the cornerstone of developing a highly skilled and adaptable workforce, adding that it is a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence.
One of the trainees, Qadri Oluwatobiloba, expressed gratitude to NBC for the invaluable experience gained, as the training surpassed his expectations.
“Having been here for nine months, I can affirm that the training and learning have been immensely transformative,” he added.
