'Over Time, We Aim to End Up Settling on the Other Side of Gaza Border' – Haaretz

'It's true that I wouldn't have carried out all these actions if the October 7 massacre hadn't occurred,' explains one activist from the far-right movement looking to resettle Gaza, 'but even before that it was our land'
The bulletin of the Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community of Kedushat Zion, which is made up of a few families living in Jerusalem’s Old City, promised great things: In keeping with the biblical saying “and ye shall possess it and dwell therein,” the bulletin read, “We will travel with joyful feelings to the holy outpost of Elei Azza, which is close to the Yad Mordechai intersection, and which was established with selfless devotion with the aim of restoring settlement to the whole Gaza District and erasing the disgrace of the terrible expulsion 19 years ago. We shall connect with the holiness of the place, and amid this hold religious activity that will include fascinating lessons and wonderful drashot [sermons], together with pleasurable activity for children and families that will include diverse attractions.”
