EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — San Elizario native Ricardo Pepi scored a goal in the U.S. men’s national team’s 4-2 win over Jamaica in the second leg of the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal at Energizer Park in St. Louis, MO on Monday night.
Pepi scored in the 41st minute and gave USMNT its third goal of the match. This was the third consecutive match Pepi has scored a goal in while playing for the USMNT. Christian Pulisic had scored the previous two goals.
Pepi and the USMNT went onto collect a 4-2 win over Jamaica and advanced to the tournament’s semifinal stage.
Pepi is unbelievable form as for club (PSV Eindhoven) and country he has scored eight goals in his last eight matches.
