Trump names former 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star to Holocaust Memorial Board – Bergen Record

New Jersey reality television now has a voice in a federal government council.
President Donald Trump appointed former “Real House Wives of New Jersey” reality star Sigalit or “Siggy” Flicker to the Holocaust Memorial Council Board.
Trump appointed 12 other members to the Holocaust Council along with Flicker, he announced on his social media site Truth Social.
“They are all strong supporters of Israel, and will ensure we, NEVER FORGET. Congratulations to all,” said the president in the social media post announcing the council.
Flicker has been a staunch supporter of Trump, attending many rallies during his 2024 presidential campaign. Her stepson’s support for the president went to further heights, as he was charged for the Jan. 6, 2021 capital riots.
The new members become official after Trump fired former President Joe Biden’s appointees of the Holocaust Council, which included Doug Emhoff, husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Council was established in 1980. The council functions to raise private funds and build the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum which opened in 1993.
The Council, also known as the board of trustees, is an independent establishment that serves as a public-private partnership which receives federal funding for the museum.
Flicker was on “Real Housewives of New Jersey” for a couple of seasons before departing in 2017. The former actress grew up in Cherry Hill after she was born in Israel. She is an alumni of Monmouth University.
“President Trump, Thank you for the privilege & honor to represent and NEVER FORGET,” said Flicker in a tweet on X.
