Nigerian Bottling Company has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable business practice and environmental stewardship.
It spoke when it hosted Ambassador of Switzerland to Nigeria, Patrick Egloff, at its new Packaging Collection Hub in Apapa, Lagos. Leading the Swiss delegation, Egloff hailed NBC for its bold investments in sustainable development.
He describesd the hub as a milestone with the potential to drive environmental and economic impact in Nigeria.
Welcoming the delegation, Managing Director, Goran Sladic, stressed the firm’s dedication to supporting Nigeria’s economic growth and environmental sustainability through investments in people, technology, and innovation.
“Our Packaging Collection Hub is a demonstration of our environmental responsibility,” said Sladic. ‘‘It is part of our goal to collect and recycle 100 per cent of the packaging we produce by 2030.
Sladic expressed NBC’s willingness to partner Switzerland, noting its reputation for innovation, efficient recycling, and sustainable practice.
Egloff praised NBC, noting the initiative is an example of how private sector investment can align with public good.

The visit discussed shared priorities and collaboration in sustainability, recycling innovation, and capacity building.
